2015 - Island Roads Arreton Roadworks Bulletin No 7
Island Roads Arreton Roadworks Bulletin No 7
29TH MAY 2015
Introduction
This is the seventh works bulletin for Arreton, in which we
try to keep you informed of the latest developments on site. We are pleased to
inform you that the weather continues to be kind to us
and there have been no delays during the past week.
By now we hope you have seen a noticeable improvement to the
carriageway surface throughout Arreton Village and Hale Common. We also hope you
agree the disruption and inconvenience that
you have experienced over the previous weeks have been worth
it given the improvements made.
Progress to Date
As explained in Bulletin No 6, works continue to progress
well and it is still anticipated to complete
the works mid-June. However as this can still be affected by
the weather and material production,
we will hopefully be in a position to give you a more
definite completion date in the next Bulletin this time next week.

2015 - Island Roads Arreton Roadworks Bulletin No 6
Arreton Works Bulletin No 6
Introduction
This is the sixth works bulletin for Arreton. Other than a
minor delay this week due to inclement weather, works are progressing to plan.
Please see the update below on the current and upcoming phases.
Progress to Date
Since starting the works on the 20th of April 2015, the
weather has been kind to us and works have progressed well. This means that we
are currently ahead of programme and anticipate the completion of the
carriageway works to be during the mid to later part of June, if we continue at
the rate we have managed to date. Although this is good news it needs to be
tempered with the thought that weather and factors such as material production
may have an impact on progress. We will provide further information on progress
to date in the next bulletin.

Arreton Works - junction across Hazely Combe
Junction Works
Further to bulletin No 4, we are writing to notify you that
we are planning on undertaking the reconstruction works in Arreton Street,
across the junction of Hazely Combe, on the evening of
Wednesday 13th May 2015.
During that evening there will be no access in to or out of
Hazely Combe between 7pm on
Wednesday 13th May and 6am on Thursday 14th May. During this
time you will need to relocate your vehicles outside of Hazely Combe if you
feel that this is necessary.
Although we understand that this will cause you some
disruption, please be aware that once
completed, this will allow vehicle access to your property
for the remaining duration of the works.
Island Roads would like to thank you for you cooperation
while we are undertaking these works.
