Spitfire over Arreton

Busy of late in the sky over Arreton. It seems the Spitfire pilot has extra fuel these last days, as it has been over the back garden every day this last week, doing loops and "Victory Rolls", fantastic.

2015 VE Day – Spitfires over Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park

Sitting on deck of Holiday home at Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park, Bembridge, Isle of Wight. When I heard the unmistakable sound of the Rolls Royce Merlin engine, ran grabbed camera and got a few pictures of the three WW2 Spitfire aircraft as they few over Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park on VE Day (8th May 2015).
