* Vehicular access will be maintained to properties within
this section once the machinery has
left site. We will supply Phase 2 residents with a pass,
which will need to be displayed in
their vehicle windscreen in order for them to be allowed
into the site when permitted.
** Once these deeper excavation works commence, there will
be no vehicular access for
residents within the works site.
Emergency Services
We would like to reassure you that access to all properties,
by the emergency services, will be
maintained at all times throughout the closure.
Cherry Wood View, Hazeley Combe, Heasley Lane and Stickworth
Lane.
Phase 2 will take the works up to the northern side of
Cherry Wood View, therefore access will be
maintained during this time via Hale Common. It is our
proposal to reconstruct across the junction
over one night and although a date is still to be confirmed,
please be rest assured that you will have
at least 24 hours’ notice. During that evening there will be
no access in to or out of Cherry Wood
View between 7pm and 6am, so you will need to relocate your
vehicles outside of Cherry Wood
View if you feel that this is necessary.
These arrangements will also be the same for Hazely Combe,
Heasley Lane and Stickworth Lane.
Signage for Businesses
We are continuing to work with businesses to improve the
signage for Island residents and visitors
alike.
