There are roadworks scheduled for next week that might affect you if you are intending to be out and about.

The Isle of Wight Council (Blackwater Hollow, Rookley, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0001 hours from Tuesday 20 April 2021 until 2359 hours on Thursday 22 April 2021, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Blackwater Hollow, between its junctions with Birchmore Lane and Arreton Bridleway 41. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Merstone Lane, Godshill, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1800 hours from Thursday 22 April 2021 until 0600 hours on Sunday 25 April 2021, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Merstone Lane between its junctions with Sandown Road and Chapel Lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during high friction surfacing works.
