Planning appeal decision

The present governments promise that the local community would have more say in local planning applications has yet again not materialised.

As the appeal decision by John L Gray DipArch MSc Registered Architect, an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government on Calloway’s 89 houses in Arreton.

He has granted planning permission for the erection of 89 dwellings at the hearing held on 12/13th September 2014.

So local “People, Parish & Isle of Wight Council” who rejected the planning application, views have been ignored, and another field of agriculture land will be lost to the island.
